Using Zakah Money for Clinic Construction
Respected scholars, as-salamu `alaykum. We are building a clinic to serve primarily the rural poor inBangladesh. We will take funds from privileged people to help maintain the clinic, medication costs, nurses and doctors' salaries, etc. We will not refuse care to privileged persons as their money will be used to allow us to provide free healthcare to the poor. Can we use zakah money to build the clinic? Jazakum Allahu khayran.
