Dear scholar, Asalam ua laikum.I would like to ask whether it is permissible to attend birthday parties as I recently heard that attnding or having one, would be like doing what the pagans of Makkah did during their birthdays.Thank You

Assalamualaikum, I have a question about attending a christmas party. I have some Non-Muslims friends who give invitation every year. They come to our Eid party whenever we invite them. I feel bad about declining every time and want to know the rulings for this matter.thank you.

Are Muslims allowed to enter a Church? My mother recently remarried in a registry office and had a blessing in a Church. My husband is a Muslim and was not sure if he was allowed to go in. He ended up not going into the Church, as he feared some sort of recrimination, even though he was not asked to take part in prayer. I have researched this but to no avail and would like some clarification for us both. I really look forward to your reply.
