Islam and Hygiene
Dear scholar(s),as-salam-alaikumWhat importance does Islam hold for cleaniness and Hygiene of human body? In India, i see a number of Muslims who do not take bath on daily basis and wear same clothes for days. Its only the day of Friday, when they take bath and wear clean clothes. this has created a negative impact on Non-Muslims here who tend to think that Islam does not teach to be clean and hygeiene.My second question is what is the logic behind each action undertaken "wudu"?please answer my questions.
