abu hurayrah

Dear scholars, I hear some people making some claims against Imam Abu Hanifah, saying some of his views are somehow weird. I don’t know how to reply them, despite that I know Imam Abu Hanifah as one of our great Imams in Islam. Kindly help!

As-Salamu `Alaykum! We notice that Abu Hurayrah narrated a number of “women-hating hadith”. Was this man reliable? We know that several prominent Companions, including `Umar ibn Khattab, questioned his honesty and truthfulness. `A’ishah, the Mother of the Believers, showed objection to many of the anti-woman hadith narrated by this man. What do the scholars of our time think about him? Thank you!

Dear scholars, As-Salamu `alaykum. I would like to know how long did Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) spend with the Prophet? I have come in contact with people who say that he narrated a lot of Hadiths, although others claim that he did not manage to do so since he spent a very short time with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). I want to get a clarification regarding this. Jazakum Allah khayran.
