Does Abel’s Burial Imply Concealment of Cain’s Crime of Murder?

Someone asked me the following question: Don’t you think that the verse no. 31 of surat Al-Ma’idah "Fa Ba`atha Allahu ghuraban ..." suggest that Allah Almighty assisted a criminal to conceal yuwari h is heinous crime? Finding myself unable to provide him an answer, I checked some books of Tafsir (Qur’anic exegesis) but they provided little or no assistance.
