When should Muslims start takbir on the days of Dhul-Hijjah, and what is the exact wording transmitted from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in this regard?
It is heared that the best nights of the year are the last 10 days of Ramadan and the best days of the year are the first 10 days of Dulhijja. I also heared a hadith saying that good deeds in the first days of Dulhijja are best - afdal - The prophet was asked - even martyrdom oh Prohphet? -, the questioner was told that yes, even greater than jihad except one who went with his wealth and body and neither of it returned...(above are not the actual wording of the hadith). Could you kindly elaborate on it? considering the appropriateness of the subject (as we are about to enter the month of Dulhijj) your quick answer is expected. May Allah Bless you in plenty for the services rendered in His causes. I mean, if there is such greatness for these days, what are the recommended acts especially for those who are not performing Hajj. wassalamu alaikum.
