Dr. Marawan Shahin, Professor of Hadith and its Sciences, Faculty of Usul Ad-Din (Theology),Al-Azhar Univ. states: “It should be clear that the Islamic way of slaughter is not only concerned with slaughtering the animal itself. Among the conditions of Islamic slaughtering is that the slaughtered should not be offered to other than Allah. So, the case now is that this slaughtered animal was offered to false gods and thus it should not be eaten by Muslims. We ask Allah Almighty to reward you for your keenness to abide by Islam and its ethics and may Allah grant you happiness in this worldly life and in the Hereafter.”
