The eminent Muslim scholar and renowned Da`iyah, Sheikh `Abdel Khaliq Hasan Ash-Shareef, states: “There is no specific formula for sending peace and blessings upon the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) which exclude other prophets. We send peace and blessings upon all Allah’s Prophets and Messengers in the same form. In other words, there is no specific formula to be said for the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and another one for the other Prophets (peace and blessings be upon them all). Muslims believe in all Allah’s Prophets and Messengers and believing in them all is one of the articles of faith. They also send peace and blessings upon all Allah’s Prophets and Messengers in the same way without specifying a certain formula to be said with regard to a certain prophet.
