The eminent Muslim scholar and renowned Da`iyah, Sheikh `Abdel Khaliq Hasan Ash-Shareef, states: “There is nothing wrong in saying fi aman Allah or bi aman Allah when leaving a person. This is some sort of du`aa’ (supplication) for a person to be in the protection of Allah and there is nothing wrong with that. This is because it does not contradict the fundamental teachings of Shari’ah”
