On this issue, Dr. Main K. Al-Qudah, stated that ‘according to the vast majority of Muslim scholars, both early and contemporary, playing and listening to music is prohibited. Muslims who are really overwhelmed by the Book of Allah, reading, memorizing, understanding and applying its rules in their daily life will never find spiritual pleasure and happiness greater than what they get when living with the Quran. The pleasure they experience is more than what other people find when they listen to music.
