SheikhHussain Halawa, the secretary general of the European Council for Fatwa and Research (ECFR) states the following: “When receiving sustenance, one should thank Allah and pray to Him to bless it. One should also spend it in the right way as Allah will question him about the way they earned it and the way they spent it. We can make a lot of Dua`as, e.g. Alhamdu Lillah, O Allah! Bless what you have provided for us, etc.”
